Crochet Mastery Course

The Crochet Mastery Course is an advanced hybrid certification course created for aspiring and experienced locticians who want to master the art and science of restoring, repairing, and maintaining healthy, beautiful locs. This course bridges theory and practice—combining a comprehensive online learning experience with a full day of hands-on, one-on-one instruction led by Master Loctician LaSeaun Crawford. The online portion must be completed prior to attending your in-person session and provides the essential foundation needed for success. Students will study loc anatomy, identify the most common causes of loc damage, learn assessment techniques, and understand the theory behind crochet repairs, restorations, and instant loc creation. You’ll also gain valuable insight into client communication, consultation structure, and pricing strategies that support professional growth and client retention. After completing the online portion, students advance to the 1-day in-person hands-on training , —an immersive practical experience designed to refine technique and build confidence. Each trainee receives a professional training kit. Guided step-by-step, you’ll perform real-time repairs, maintenance, and instant loc creation while receiving personalized feedback from your instructor. In-Person Training Date: Sunday, December 7, 2025 Upon successful completion, graduates will earn a Certification of Completion from LOYL Academy, validating their professional training in Crochet Loc Maintenance & Repairs. This course empowers locticians to elevate their artistry, expand their service offerings, and become trusted specialists in loc restoration and maintenance.
