All content within LOYL Academy—including videos, text, workbooks, PDFs, audio, images, logos, and course structure—is the sole property of Love On Your Locs® and protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may not:

Use LOYL Academy materials for commercial training or resale
Remove any branding, copyright, or proprietary notices

5. Use of Platform

You agree to use the LOYL Academy platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects other learners, instructors, and the integrity of our educational environment. You may not:

Harass, threaten, or defame others
Share or upload inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or alter the website or learning platform

6. Payment & Refund Policy

All payments are due as stated at the time of registration. LOYL Academy courses are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific offering.

LOYL Academy reserves the right to remove access for non-payment, chargebacks, or breach of these Terms.

7. Course Access & Duration

Unless otherwise noted, course access is granted for the term specified at purchase (e.g., 12-month access with optional upgrades). Access may include:

Digital lessons
Downloadable materials
Student assignments and activities
Limited-time coaching or bonus sessions

Access may be revoked for violation of these Terms.

8. Student Conduct

LOYL Academy maintains a professional, empowering learning environment. By enrolling, you agree to:

Submit original work
Respect all fellow students and instructors
Participate with integrity and professionalism
Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or permanent removal without refund.

9. Media Release

From time to time, LOYL Academy may request permission to feature student submissions, testimonials, or course engagement for promotional purposes. No personally identifying images or recordings will be used without your explicit consent.

10. Modifications to Terms

LOYL Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or courses after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

LOYL Academy is not responsible for any technical issues, loss of data, or damages resulting from use of the platform. Course results, certification, or career outcomes are not guaranteed and depend on each student’s commitment, participation, and application.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of South Carolina, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
